that this girl is like a fashion icon. i wore a bright green turtleneck with a messed up (like seriously. it was incomplete) screen print of a unicorn on it, an XL purple button down i borrowed from my father and a starter jacket i found in my attic in the cape and i was like “oh. this shit is some interrobangin shit”
These boots make me feel super profesh.
so i totally had this pretty much useless mess of a chanel dress that i bought at the rose bowl flea market back in the day. i was going to try and sell it but then i was like “shit. the problem is the LENGTH.”
see it came to just below my knee. and it has an awkward waist. therefore it made me look AWFUL and frumpy. so…i cut off the bottom. i know! i cut a CHANEL silk dress. WHAT?? but seriously it looks amazeface.
AND THEN i was like “well its a little cold out. i wonder…” and lo and behold! he bottom part of the dress that i cut off became a cowl neck scarf for the dress!!
PLUS…since i am a fan of wearing brown and black together i figured this was a great opportunity to wear my hardcore meth head leather jacket. mix the delicate prairie girl softness of the dress with the intensity of the jacket…i know its a little cliche but i think it works and i am incredibly proud of myself. this makes up for my inability to deal with my circle skirt today.
Part of me kind of hopes that someone walks in when I do things like this to myself. I’m not trying to be quirky….my head was cold and my neck is warm…this is called being practical
So that leather jacket I was talking about? Fits pretty awesome it turns out. Boom!!

This is my green velvet jacket. I have had this thing since my junior year of high school. It no longer buttons around the front and I can’t layer under it like I used to but its thu. Business.
