i LOVE this look

1. little tiny patterns as a trend just kind of crept up on us, didn’t it world? i mean, in the sense that you didn’t hear about them non-stop (unlike OMG boyfriend jeans! or LACE LACE LACE or crochet shorts [which i admittedly am still really excited about but welcome to the party everyone else in the world]*) but after miu miu’s tiny cats and tiny birds collection, little dainty patterns are just errrywhere, huh? i have no problem with this. 

2. so…this skirt doesn’t pass my “if you put your hands at your side and the skirt is shorter, it is inappropriate for wear without leggings” test. so is she just getting away with it because she’s mad skinny and probably has no ass to really be A PROBLEM? or am i terrible prude with outdated ideas about appropriateness that stem from my (and my mother’s) catholic education?

*if anyone is interested in making me a pair of crocheted shorts, i am still definitely interested in paying someone to make me a pair that will fit over my ass.
